Buko Express: Young Coconut Juice In A Glass

My wife and I are against drinking cola or any other soft drinks that contains acid or carbonated water, we both think that ice tea is too overrated, and coffee, well having a hot weather and everything, it's totally out of the picture. So we were actually arguing on what to drink on this jungle of selections. We both passed concorde on our way to The Block to check out some of the stores in there when we passed this small booth name Buko Express selling coconut juice. Most of the coconut juice that you see around malls would contain a mixture of water, coconut juice and sugar. What was intriguing about this booth is that it offers pure coconut juice fresh from its fruits. It was really different from most booths that offers coconut juice, well first and foremost, that thing that you would notice is that it is much more expensive than the ones that is offered in mixture, this booth sells 12oz for 20 pesos, 16oz for 35 pesos and 20oz for 50 pesos.
The thing that got my attention with Buko Express is that they had an opener for the coconut fruit itself, it was the first time I laid eyes on such a contraption and I was in awe - Pretty cool actually! If only we were allowed to take pictures of it I would've posted the pictures here. When it comes to the drink itself, you would really notice the difference, Buko Express delivers whats on the label. There was no mixture whatsover on the drink. It was pure coconut juice!Another cool thing about Buko Express is that you can add flavors on your coconut juice, whether its pandan or whether you would like it shaked, it has everything for everyone who likes some twist to their coconut juice. As for this happy prick, no one can beat purity at its finest and I'm pretty sure that whenever we go back to SM North, we would pass by at that small booth name Buko Express to buy me some of those fine coconut milk!
